A List of Countries where Steroids are Legal and Illegal
What are Steroids?
Steroids are powerful drugs formulated to treat a range of medical conditions that can affect your body’s overall defense mechanism. Steroids are used to mimic natural enzymes and hormones in the body. These hormones are responsible for controlling the way our body works and growth. Steroids can be categorized into two different types: corticosteroids and anabolic. Though steroids are used to resolve many health problems, there are situations when steroids are misused. For example, athletes use steroids to stay active and stronger for longer hours. The drugs are used to promote muscle growth in both men and women.
The use of steroids is considered as good and bad! Conversely, it is identified as illegal in many countries.
In The United States
The United States of America has strict rules and regulations to control the sales, purchase, and use of steroids, especially the anabolic ones. The FDA claims that anabolic steroids are categorized as controlled Schedule III substances. This includes drugs like morphine, ketamine, and hydrocodone in certain proportions. Very few steroids are tagged as legal. Even these steroids must be sold only to people with the right prescriptions. Physicians are allowed to prescribe steroids only for cases with breast cancer, tissue decay problems, low red blood cell count and delayed puberty.
In Canada
Laws in Canada are quite different from the rules and regulations in the United States. It is absolutely illegal to buy anabolic steroids in Canada. It is illegal to buy, sell or possess these drugs. People who call the use of steroids as legal are believed to be “sketchy”. Only people who carry the right amount of steroids for personal use are safe in Canada. Anything beyond your personal needs can send you to jail for 18 months.
In Mexico
People in Mexico are allowed to buy anabolic steroids of veterinary grade without any prescription. Drugs like Sustanon and Deca Durabolin can be bound without any prescription. However, other steroids like Primobolan Depot need a prescription.
